Content

The book "E-Business-Generator" by Tobias Kollmann and Simon Hensellek provides readers with a practical tool for building electronic business models in the digital economy, which they can use step by step to either develop a completely new digital business process or digitally transform an existing real business process. It's not just about building new digital business models (e-model generation), but also about digitally transforming existing real business processes (e-business generation). New companies (startups) and established companies (SMEs/industry) from all sectors must and can rise to this challenge of digital innovation or digital transformation accordingly with the resulting "e-business generator". As a tool, the e-business generator (EBG) provides a comprehensive framework and shows how a digital business model based on value creation processes can be understood, designed, implemented, and continuously (re-)evaluated using innovative information technology (IT). Entrepreneurs and board members are thus provided with an effective tool that enables them to easily capture, analyze, articulate, share and ultimately change their company's value creation logic. The E-Business Generator (EBG) thus provides all target groups with a tool that makes both possible. This book aims to explain how it works!

Target Groups

The target group includes practitioners who are considering starting a company in the digital economy or founders who are already working in such companies. This also includes representatives of SMEs and industry who are looking to connect to the startup scene via incubators or accelerators, or who want to establish new digital business models in their own companies via innovation or specialist departments or even their own digital units. Other target groups are students and teachers at universities, universities of applied sciences, private business schools, and technology centers that deal with the topics of (digital) entrepreneurship, innovation management, e-business, and e-commerce.
