Content

Digital startups are becoming increasingly important also in Germany. According to the German Startup Monitor, two out of three startups can be assigned to the digital economy. Students in this module receive an introduction to the relevance and special features of startups in the digital economy. They are taught the necessary basic knowledge about digital value creation processes so that associated startup potential can be identified and seized. The entire founding process of a digital startup is covered, starting with idea generation and formulation, through initial idea implementation to idea intensification and scaling. In the exercise, the theoretical content of the lecture will be deepened by accompanying practical examples and lectures as well as the application of the E-Business-Model-Generators as a tool for the development and transformation of digital business models.

The course will be offered with an in-person lecture and a digital tutorial. The exact concept will be presented via moodle and in the first lecture. Please enroll for the course in moodle well in advance (self-enrollment) to receive up-to-date information about the course.

Enrollment for the module is open until 15/10/2024 at 11:59 pm, the enrollment key is "DigEntWS2425": Moodle
